Time is marching on and Spring has definitely sprung here in Victoria.  The Garden City does it again and is it any wonder so many Canadians are migrataing west when the east has seen so much snow this winter.  The camellias are in bloom, daffodils are up and the cherry blossoms adorn the streets.  For details on all of the upcoming events in our fair city please check out Tourism Victoria at http://www.tourismvictoria.com.

February had a slow start in terms of real estate sales this year.  There is some speculation that this may have been partially due to the tragic event of a Realtors murder early in the month.  Unfortuntely for the Victoria real estate community we lost a vibrant, aspiring Realtor and we were all very much saddened by the loss.  Such an event makes us all more conscious of our own safety and the need for more formal arrangements between ourselves and our clients.  We feel strongly about the need for and use of the Exclusive Buyers Agency Agreement.  We will be holding some seminars in the near future on this contract, how it is used, and how it protects both the buyer and the Realtor.  Details will be coming shortly.  If you are interested in attending this seminar please let us know.
